Facilities for disabled
patients
The practice is a purpose built single story building with easy
wheelchair access into the reception area and beyond. There
are two disabled toilets. Please ask for assistance if
required.
Home visits
These are for those who are too ill to come to the surgery or
for those who are completely house bound. Please
telephone before 10.00 am (before we start our rounds) and be
prepared to give brief details to help us assess urgency when
planning our visits
Well person checks
Patients who have not been seen in the surgery for more than 3
years, can request a well person check with one of our practice
nurses, please speak to reception.
How to obtain a repeat
prescription
Please allow 2 working days notice when requesting a repeat
prescription of regular medication. You can telephone
requests between 9.00 am and 12.30 pm or between 2.00 pm and 5.30pm
week days, call in person or write enclosing a stamped addressed
envelope. You can also use the web service to request repeat
scripts. If you have any questions regarding this service,
please contact reception.
Training Practice
We are a recognised training practice and may have fully
qualified doctors with hospital experience working here for up to
12 months before joining a practice of their own. We also
have senior medical students with us from time to time. They
may be present during a consultation or seeing patients under
supervision. We hope you will not mind, but if you do please
tell our receptionist.
